What makes a Turtle Vac different?

Turtle Vac is a highly efficient cleaner offering 4 levels of filtration for cleaner floors and cleaner air. It has a lightweight metal body and quality accessories. It glides easily across floors and carpets leaving noticeably cleaner floors and a fresh smell.

What tools does the Vac come with?

In addition to the main cleaning head or floor tool, the Turtle Vac comes with a crevice, dusting and stair tool.

What is a HEPA?

HEPA stands for- High Efficiency Particulate Air and in short is used to describe a type of filter. The Turtle Vac is fitted with a HEPA filter and this type of filter is recommended for allergy suffers. Some manufacturers refer to them as S-Class filters.

How much does a Turtle Vac weigh?

It's boxed weight with all the tools and attachments is approx 9.7kg. The Vac itself is approx 6.7 kg.

How powerful is the Turtle Vac?

You can choose the level of suction you require - I is for full power at 1000 watts and II is for energy-saving eco-power at 850 watts. You can also reduce the power by sliding open the shutter vent on the wand.

What type of bags does Turtle Vac take?

The Turtle Vac takes a superior filtering bag which is available from Turtle Mat directly. You can order bags in 5's/ 10's from our website or by telephone. We do not recommend using other bags as these may not have the same capacity and robustness as Turtle Vac bags.

How long should a bag last?

We recommend that the bag is changed every 3-4 weeks, however it is dependant on the amount of use the machine has had.

What happens if my machine goes wrong?

Follow the problem fixing guide on the back of the instruction manual. If your vac is still lifeless please call for servicing. Firstly call Turtle Mat customer services on 0845 600 3478 and they will provide you with the details of Turtle Vac TecServ who will try and help you over the phone and arrange a home call if necessary.

Can I order a Turtle Vac when I order other Turtle Mat products?

Yes, postage will be £7.50 to cover the cost of posting the vac. Your other goods will come separately from the vac.
