Influencer blog review: ‘Transforming your hallway ready for Autumn’ by Greenbank Interiors

We’ve been following award nominated interior blogger and content creator @greenbank_interiors for interior and home decor inspiration for a long time now, and we were over the moon last autumn when Kirsty agreed to collaborate with us to launch our new Flock Neutral design. Fast forward a year and @greenbank_interiors now has five Turtle Mats in her home, with our new Maple leaf runner and ‘Welcome to Greenbank’ personalised mat being the newest additions. We’re happy to share with you Kirsty’s fantastic post she wrote on the Greenbank Interiors blog, detailing her tips on how to transform your hallway for autumn with the help of our Turtle Mats:

TRANSFORMING YOUR HALLWAY FOR AUTUMN

Now that Autumn is most definitely upon us (in the UK anyway!) it’s time to put those summer shoes away and dust off those autumn/winter boots.

Autumn is such a wonderful time of year to be outdoors (when it’s not raining of course!) With all the vibrant autumnal colours as the leaves turn, it has to be one of my favourite times of year.

It’s also time to start thinking about our hallways and how we can best protect them from the inevitable increase in muck and dirt being collected on our shoes, boots and paws!

Sounds obvious but the protection of your hallway starts as soon as you open your front door. Ensuring you have a good quality door mat will mean you’ll catch the worst of the muck before anyone gets any further into the house.

Take a look at my new snazzy personalised Turtle Mat! I’m absolutely over the moon with it! It’s also just solved this year’s Christmas present idea for pretty much everyone I buy presents for (just hope they aren’t reading this blog!)

This type of mat can be used indoors and outdoors too!

Welly racks

Wall mounted or freestanding welly racks are another brilliant way to prevent mud being carried into the house. They’re also a stylish and tidy way to store your wellies whilst they dry off.

Runners

Whether you are blessed with a large hallway or something more compact and bijou like mine, it’s often the coldest part of the home so adding a runner into the mix is a great way to keep matters warmer underfoot. As well as helping to create a warmer feeling it will also help to collect dust and dirt from the bottom of shoes, socks & slippers before it’s trodden around the rest of the house. As you can see I went for a very autumnal feel when choosing my Turtle Mat Runner. Turtle Mats are made with super absorbent cotton fibres and are machine washable at 40 degrees and are tumble dryer safe too!

My home is literally filled with Turtle Mats! I just love the fact that I can throw them in the washing machine (especially with a potty training toddler in the house!).

There are lots of other fantastic styles to choose from in the Turtle Mat range hit this link to see the full range.
