Whether you're a new customer or a long-time fan, this guide is designed to help you keep your Turtle Mats looking their best. From understanding washing instructions to tips on stain removal, we've got all the information you need to maintain your mats' quality and durability.

Caring for your Indoor Turtle Mat

Washing your mat before use helps to maximise performance by raising the pile once dried

Machine or hand wash at 40°C using a colour kind non-biological detergent without bleaching agents/optical brighteners.

Do not use fabric conditioner or a combined detergent and conditioner as this will reduce the dirt trapping performance of your mat

We recommend washing your Turtle Mats regularly (monthly) to improve the absorbency of your mat and to ensure the area under the mat can be cleaned and aired

Tumble dry on low heat setting or allow to dry naturally. Check the filters on your machine as directed by the washing machine manufacturer

Large mats are heavy when wet and we recommend when washing in a domestic machine you check the load limit on your machine

Never place your Turtle Mat on a damp floor

Caring for your Outdoor Mat

These care instructions apply for Cape Cod, Dune, Mud Hog and personalised mats:

  1. Shake outdoor mat to remove any loose dirt
  2. Hose down your mat to remove the dirt, hang mat up to dry
  3. Use a stiff brush to remove any dried mud
  4. Please do not put your outdoor mat in the washing machine or tumble dryer

Caring for your Car Boot and Bumper Protector Mat

Separate velcro between the boot mat and rubber protector

Boot mat is machine washable at 30°C and tumble dry safe

Hand wash rubber protector and allow to dry naturally before use
